NASA's STEREO spacecraft filmed a blast of charged material fanning out from the sun, washing over the planet Mercury like a mountain stream over a boulder. The movie clip is embedded with voice-over from a space alien enthusiast. He sees evidence of a massive space ship hiding behind Mercury. I go with the explanation that computer editing to delete light that was seen both before and during the event produced an artifact. Mercury is on the move, more so than the stars in the background, and the cancellation effect was less effective near the planet. My takeaway: What a beautiful vision that our parents and ancestors could hardly have dreamed would ever be seen by the eyes of man!
