Sad story cheapened by a phony narrative.

Who hasn't heard about the Indiana toddler found alive ten miles from home after the tornado subsided? The poor child died on Sunday as did her parents before her.  The TEN MILE part of the story caught the imagination of the world and is still posted on Drudge.  It isn't true.   She was found near her dead parents close to the ruins of their mobile home.  Without comment, the corrected facts appear in the latest stories.

"Angel was found alive about 150 yards from where her family's home had stood".(US News)
Maybe the story is a hash of the Grandfather's report of driving some distance to see if his daughter's trailer had survived the storm.  Sorrow is the lot of the infant's kin and shame should be the lot of the reporters.
