Obama meltdown over debt talks will cost him the incumbent's advantage in 2012

John Podhoretz:  The President Is Actually Trying to Talk the Markets into a Panic.
Palin: "He is angry now because he is being treated as a (lame duck president)".
Hugh Hewitt:  "This may have been the most irresponsible presidential press conference in memory".

As President Obama turns petulant, he is losing the incumbent's advantage and yielding the initiative to whomever will take it up.  That's the good news.  The bad news is willfully exposing the markets to risk.
