CBC did something well.

CBC radio always offered a few seconds of complete silence just before the hour. Most other radio stations fill that spot with a jungle of jingles.  I have always liked that silence and propose that CBC increase it to 30 minutes or more per hour and try  it on TV too.  Either that or Plan B: User pay.
