"We're not going to be your national park". Harper's altered quote gets attention.

PM Stephen Harper didn't address the US with those exact words but they have been repackaged (fairly in my opinion) and are getting US traction in recent hours.  What he actually said in a January interview with CBC's Peter Mansbridge:
"But just because certain people in the United States would like to see Canada be one giant national park for the northern half of North America, I don't think that's part of what our review process is all about. Our process is there to determine what the needs and desires of Canadians are."

Canada is a nearly unspoiled wilderness and they have mounties with scarlet tunics too!
