"Beehive fences keep African elephants away from crops"

The fence of poles with suspended bee hives works with gaps.
The comeback of Kenya’s elephant population is a huge conservation success story, as well as a huge problem for the country’s farmers.  “The farmers in the area are desperate for a solution,” said zoologist  Lucy King “They haven’t had much help from anyone else. They were very open-minded about this crazy idea."
