has been re-integrated with the miracle of thin-screen technology.
Seen a lot lately, even written into new house plans.






Interesting. Fire that gave us heat, warm meals and a little light after sunset was tamed for suburban living and then shoved aside as Bonanza and Hockey Night in Canada grew in importance.  New homes have fake fireplaces and ever grander flat screens but not so much family time in front of them. I like the above picture because of the attentive cat.   Below is the sterile look coming in.
