In the long run, none of this will matter.
Demography and technology trump politics.
Demography because experienced adults and seniors will soon be the majority everywhere in the world.
Technology because people in speed-of-light networks will solve problems more profitably than croney-capped hierarchies that ran at the speed of paper.
