CERN gags employees who report an inconvenient truth.

Cosmic rays displace electrons that
lead to atmospheric particles that
trigger cloud formation.
Cosmic rays help seed the formation of clouds which in turn change earth's surface temperature. Watch Svensmark's talk below.  A team working at CERN in Switzerland ran a test that confirms this.  The Director General said the scientists should refrain from drawing conclusions from the latest experiment. “That would go immediately into the highly political arena of the climate change debate."

  1. The CLOUD experiment was performed at CERN by outside researchers, over whom CERN has zero authority. This barely even applies to CERN employees, who are not actually subject to the DG's authority on these matters.

It's CYA stuff. Won't make any difference, except to smear CERN's rep.
