Unhealthy ecosystem becomes teeming undersea park in ten short years.

Once depleted by fishing, Cabo Pulmo
now boasts a healthy mix of wildlife.
With community protection, a new undersea park sprang to life in Mexico's Baja. The fish mass has more than quadrupled in ten years with increased variety and size.  "You cannot believe the change that has taken place!"  Cabo Pulmo was not in good environmental health but now has spawned an ecotourism business. A few committed families in a coastal village made all the difference by helping to establish the park and to enforce park rules.
