Water proven on Mars: NASA Rover finds band of gypsum.

Water was present on Mars surface.  That was pretty sure before and now it is certain, thanks to a band of gypsum the Rover has found at the edge of the Endeavor Crater. "No ambiguity".   Gypsum can only precipitate from water.  Wired Science.
