An engineer from UofT was holidaying in the Niagara Peninsula. Strolling a country lane, he saw a farmer lifting pigs one by one into the apple tree. The farmer patiently moved a porker from branch to branch and when the creature had its full, got another pig.
After watching a bit, the engineer had to call out:

“That’s so inefficient. A lot of time will be saved by shaking the apples onto the ground and letting the pigs all eat at the same time.”
The farmer replied
“What’s time to a pig?”
