Peevish reporters losing their bully pulpit.

Newspapers pay for reporters and ads pay for newspapers. Half the ad money has disappeared lately, thanks to the internet.  There won't be as many opinionated hacks and newshounds paid to tell you what they think.  They will have to join the unwashed masses and win a following with the quality of their posts.  The chart, corrected for inflation, covers sixty years.
